If the body is worked hard without rest, it gets worn out,If the spirit is used ceaselessly it becomes tired,
and when tired becomes exhausted....
It is the nature of water, if pure to be clear, and if not disturbed to be level....
But when it is blocked and not allowed to flow, it can't preserve it's clarity.
This is an image of the virtue of Heaven.
"To be innocent and pure"
"To be still and constant"
"To be indifferent, doing nothing ...
is to move and act like heaven.....
When the Tao Practitioner acheives a state of awareness through understanding the
workings of nature there is a depth of perception which means becoming conscious
of the natural flow of life.
Normal everyday living has a way of interfering with this perception
and it becomes quite difficult to hold on to the concept!
Nature is also a manifestation of the Tao.
Tao is both everywhere and nowhere....
and we can learn to live in harmony with nature....
Nature does not posses desire...
Without desire the heart becomes quiet .....
