Thoughts and ambition are turned inward for growth not outward for conflict....
Lately on another site I am a member of I sadly was caught up in such a dilemma
and what caused my heart dismay was it happened with those of whom I respected
for showing spiritual enlightenment.
But this is not the first time this has happened and no doubt will not be the last.
When following a true spiritual path we are always learning and growing, sadly
I seem to be a magnet for those who use their spiritual wisdom to cause conflict,
and what is more concerning is they are truly unaware of it due to the festering
within there heart which leads them to be controlling in manner.
If matters of the heart cause you pain or you are offended by others in some way,
bide time, and think how can I spread peace within this dilemma, without condemning
people and calling them names.
Some people may be inflicted by racism, I have lived with this issue for many years,
I have lived in many parts of the world and know how peoples lives are so different
in thought, mind and deed, still I do not condemn those, who for want of a better word,
feel they see the world and its affairs from another angle, they may have personal
reasons for thinking so, and to label this racism every opportunity you get, is a matter
that needs reflecting on.
Our minds just need to be opened, Character is strengthened. Self reliance is discovered.
In this way knowledge and desire do not interfere with others
Inner strength replaces outer show.
Competition and co-operation are opposites, each created by the other.
From the first comes dissension from the second comes dependence.
Between the opposites of everything is inner virtuous power, it occurs when
nothing extraordinary happens; when people are not devious, when the intelligent are not cunning, when the unfortunate are not neglected...
There is inner peace in outer harmony.
When there is inner peace, the common is profound.
When there is outer harmony everything seems ordinary.
A quote from "The Tao of Being":
The sea is above the hundred rivers because it is below them,
therefore, the sage serves from below, guides from beneath, leads from behind.
Because the sage is humble, the people are not oppressed. Because they are not oppressed,
they trust, because they are not lead, they follow.
When the sage struggles with no one, no one can struggle in return.
